The location for P-Con V is the Central Hotel in Exchequer Street, Dublin 2
Established in 1887, Dublin's Central Hotel is aptly named, designed by Richard Millar and William Symens of Kildare Street and built by Ross & Walpole. The entire hotel is made from reinforced cast iron which was a super structure with an outer skin and inner skin, which was unique in its day. Located in the heart of Dublin, the hotel was totally refurbished in 1998 by the current owners.
The hotel is situated one block from Trinity College, the Book of Kells, Temple Bar, Grafton Street and Dublin Castle. We are also within walking distance of Saint Patricks Cathederal, ChristChurch, Grafton Street, home of the famous Bewley's Cafe, and Saint Stephens Green.Not too far away is The Guinness Hop Store and on the far side of the Liffey is The Jameson Distillery.
